How the planning service works This service will work with buyers to support the implementation of robotics capabilities in your organisation from small individual projects to establishing and running a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for robotics in the organisation. The service provides out-of-the-box tools for establishing robotics capabilities including project plans, methodology and documentation based on our experience of implementing many robotics projects in the private and public sector.

This service will support the buyer in understanding the technology required to setup a robotics solution, and also help the buyer to identify the right processes for automation and manage a pipeline of automation projects from the business.

The service will support the buyer in understanding what skills and capabilities they need to support the adoption of automation, and to design an operating model for their robotics capabilities, and define a set of roles and responsibilities and guidelines for how it is used by the organisation.

The service will help buyers to understand how to build and maintain the skills and capabilities that it needs, whether this is through training and development of staff, or the procurement of services and support from third party organisations.

How the setup or migration service works This service will support the buyer in setting up their robotics capabilities and enhancing their skills. This will include:

Detailed project planning - working with the buyer to establish detailed plans for setup and migration.

Methodology - unpacking the out-of-the-box methods and tools, and tailoring to meet your needs. These tools include those required to establish a CoE if required.

Capability enhancement and ongoing development: Using the output from the planning phase we will work with the buyer to build the right skills and capabilities. We can provide resources with skills and expertise from our Global and UK based robotics centres to work alongside the buyer to analyse and automate their business processes, and build the skills of the buyer's team.

Technical Assurance: We will provide technical architects who can work with your application and desktop infrastructure teams in building the right environment for development and implementation of your robotics as a service solution.

Governance and funding: We will work with the buyer to establish robust pipeline management and prioritisation of opportunities, as well as on innovative funding arrangements which can use savings from implementation to fund the next wave of projects.

How the quality assurance and performance testing works We will help buyers to establish the assurance strategy, and the methods and tools for testing and quality assurance, including functional and non-functional testing (such as performance, operational and security testing).

We will help buyers to understand how to set up the right technical environment to support testing on each of the projects, and setup reusable testing tools and environments wherever possible.

Part of the role of a Centre of Excellence will be in maintaining the quality and consistency of the projects implemented, and setting the strategy and standards for testing across all projects.
