How the training service works
Our training service is generally connected to implementations we are involved in. We follow the procedures and guidance provided by the specific Cloud Provider that we deploy in accordance to our Client's business frameworks and requirements.

Training covers a broad scope and is customised for requirements and users' ability. We can provide the following types of training:

"Train the Trainer" - Provides in-depth training on a particular area or implementation of an application to a senior user or in-house trainer.

"Class room" - provides training on a particular area or implementation of an application to a group of users.

All training is usually carried out on Client's site (although different arrangements can be discussed and reviewed when required by the Client), and for "Class room" training a suitable room and access to the application for users is required.

Documentation could include training manual and notes, user guides, and quick reference guides.

We start the migration journey with data about your migration objectives, organisation, applications and infrastructure. The data gathered forms the basis for developing migration strategies, prioritising applications and services, establishing a migration factory, and creating detailed migration plans.
Migrating workloads to new cloud environments have to be planned and managed in details, and in order to do so we drive the process with a clear understanding of the impact that the final architecture and migration pattern will have on the end-state functionality, performance, availability and security of the applications. An effective cloud operating model is designed, tested and implemented before workloads are moved across to deliver the cloud promise of lower cost and within a shorter timeframe. Our methodology for migrating workloads to the cloud delivers quick time-to-value as we always ensure that the network architecture and migration pattern are aligned to our Clients' cloud ambitions.

We implement the following test process:
1. Test Plan - defines the scope of testing, assumptions, and completion and acceptance criteria.
2. Test Specification - after identifying the test conditions, create detailed test cases.
3. Test Execution - Execute the test cases and record the results. Tests are re-executed when an issues found are resolved.
4. Reporting - Full report detailing test coverage, defects found, completion and acceptance criteria.

Performance load testing is carried out using automated test tools. All performance testing is carried out following protocols and guidance from the specific Cloud Providers selected by our Clients.

KA2 can provide ongoing support up to Level 3. Due to the very nature of our agnostic approach (when selecting and implementing a Cloud Platform provider) we can support a wide variety o hosting or software services, including (but not limited to) Amazon Web Services - AWS, Google Cloud Platform - GCP, Microsoft Azure, IBM Cloud, Oracle Cloud, ServiceNow, etc. The support can be delivered via help desk portal, email or telephone, from 9:00am to 5:00pm (UK time), 7 days a week. Pricing varies, dependent upon the criticalities and SLA's agreed with the Client. We would usually supply a proposal after meeting with our Clients to better understand the specific level of support required.

KA2 can provide the following support levels:

-Tier 1 - Basic help desk resolution and service desk delivery. Support for basic customer issues such as solving usage issues and fulfilling service desk requests that need IT involvement. (Lower level technical personnel, trained to solve known problems and to fulfill service requests by following scripts.)
-Tier 2 - In-depth technical support. Experienced and knowledgeable technicians assess issues and provide solutions for problems that cannot be handled by Tier 1. (Support personnel with deep knowledge of the product or service.)
-Tier 3 - Access to the highest technical resources available for problem resolution or new feature creation. (Highly skilled product specialists, such as Chief Architects, or Engineers who have worked for several years on specific applications.)

We will provide the required level of technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve any issues when they arise. This can include technical experts, consultants or developers.

Cost of support is dependent on the application being supported, and we would usually supply a proposal after meeting with our Clients to better understand their requirements.
