- This is guided by severity of incident. Our policies are in keeping with ITIL principles and incorporate the severity level matrix specified by NHS Digital for GP IT Futures. Severity 1 or 2 level incidents are logged as an HSSI. Severity 1 or 2 level incidents are responded to within 15 minutes and an update provided within 4 hours (excluding those outside Primary Care IT Ltd control).

We also build in public health elements such as NHS healthchecks and build local child safeguarding tools for subscribers. - Secure data centres are a requirement for all foundation clinical systems, approved by NHS Digital and HSCIC. Given our solutions are embedded within these, we enjoy the same standards. We are compliant with the Data Security and Protection toolkit. We also comply with the standards required by GPIT Futures framework, including incident reporting and an ITIL compliant support desk.
