CourtApp is used to search and find court listings, events, locations, notices and diary entries for users. The app is used to locate court events, read court bulletins, invite participants once integrated with HMCTS.

Getting started We will work with an initial client location and closed/curated user group to pilot/Alpha the app and review before moving into limited release Beta. We are keen to ensure a collaborative approach to deployment
We will provide online/onscreen tutorial videos to use the app, including walkthrough and stories, however it is intended to be a familiar experience and intuitive for the initial release. Subsequent releases will have the same pattern of feature use, and execution

End-of-contract data extraction There is no personal user data stored within the app itself, it makes use of the personal features of smart devices, the data the users consume is public and published by the relevant court/tribunal (unless redacted). the events & email addresses will be available on their personal device mail history and calendar history.
End-of-contract process The capability can persist within HMCTS and since the app is free to use and an asset for court/tribunal users, we will transfer the ownership of the capability to the relevant gov agency. If the agency no longer wishes to make use of the capability then a cancellation process can commence and the relevant data servers can be decommissioned with the app removed from the relevant online resources flagged unavailable or deleted from public access
