How the planning service works
BAE Systems’ Business Case and Benefits Management services enables our customers to develop the business case for cloud services, understand and quantify the impacts of transitioning to the cloud and establish a benefits management regime. We will work with you to establish a benefits management framework, putting in place a rigorous approach that encompasses benefits identification, benefits tracking and a benefits realisation plan. We have significant experience of working with the introduction of cloud technologies in Government clients and will support you in the application of the Axelos Managing Successful Programmes approach and the development of business cases to HM Treasury Green Book standards, including the application of decision analysis approaches to evaluate and select options. Our approach to benefits delivery follows the 'V-Model'. This essential component of benefits management allows client organisations to continuously refer to the business case and ensures that benefits are tracked through the lifecycle of each initiative. We also work to define meaningful and practical KPIs, setting baselines and targets to track achievement of the business case.
