Red Team Testing (Red Teaming)

Red Teaming for organisations wanting intelligence-led physical pen-testing. The Red Team service is designed to penetration test an organisation’s premises by providing a real-life exercise that tests physical security measures, policies and procedures against real-world specific threats using only intelligence-led information available to a would be hacker.

  • Off-site project initiation to determine scope and boundaries for testing
  • Use of open source research to identify potential exploitation opportunities
  • Pre-testing passive reconnaissance activities to identify actual vulnerabilities
  • Team testing reducing the risk of recognition
  • Active reconnaissance to exploit one-off opportunities
  • Observational reporting and risk prioritised recommendations provided
  • Photographic evidence used where appropriate to support observations
  • No access by brute force is used
  • Intelligence-led physical pen-testing, GBEST compliant (TI - OSINT)
  • Two phases: Threat Intelligence (TI-OSINT) and Penetration Test (PT).

  • Testing is based on information/threats a real hacker could identify
  • Outcomes are based on genuine, exploited security weaknesses
  • Recommendations are pragmatic and cost effective
  • UK staff & SC minimum clearance
  • Enables swift remediation of exploited security practices
  • Tailored solutions, fit for purpose not out of a box
  • Team testing increases the success rate of testing outcomes
  • Independent of product vendors
  • Extensive experience of public sector organisational ways of working
  • Experienced skilled testers - CPNI, Home Office trained & ex-military
