How shared infrastructure is kept separate The Scalable Compute Platform is a purpose built multi-tenant solution providing secure segregation of clients data, between separate security zones and between separate clients. The infrastructure is segregated between Official and non-Official services. Both environments use VMware virtualisation software to maintain separation within the compute and storage layer, Virtual LANs and separate physical interfaces provide network segregation and connectivity between networks is provided by a cluster of EAL+ certified firewalls. The platform is accessible via private network connections, secure public services networks and the internet.
