Availability and resilience

Availability and resilience
Guaranteed availability Mutually agreed service Level Agreements (SLAs) will be agreed by both parties as a schedule to the contract to detail responsibilities of both customers and Adare. The SLA schedule will provide an overview of the services that are required under the contract in order to meet customer business objectives.
The Adare team view the SLA as a working document where amendments and improvements can be made, if necessary, and use it to facilitate communication, enabling all parties to be aware of any issues or potential issues that may arise. The SLA is not only intended to drive day-to-day operational excellence by everyone within our business, but also to identify any areas of risk in the process. This allows Adare to work with clients to implement corrective action, to improve service delivery. We agree timelines to address any potential issues with key stakeholders and agree escalation routes for both organisations, should issues not be resolved to the relevant stakeholders’ satisfaction.
Approach to resilience Adare is accredited to ISO22301 Business Continuity standards.

Configuration and change management standard Supplier-defined controls
Configuration and change management approach For Major changes, the process is managed by an Adare Project Manager. Adare’s Project Management team are trained and work to the Adare project process, which follows the PRINCE2 method, and includes the control and management of the change request process.
The Project Manager appointed to the customer account will oversee and manage through the day-to-day changes and projects that arise, as communicated by the onsite Account Managers. They will identify the activities that need to occur in order to ensure a swift and seamless change, whilst maintaining business as usual service for ongoing mailing activity.
Vulnerability management type Supplier-defined controls
Vulnerability management approach The NAV system is used to track every application through each phase of production, using a Status reference, through to despatch into the mail service and key activities, including the quality controls completed and the actual despatch date, are recorded in the system. This then provides access to performance data from every single production order completed that feeds into the management information reporting.
Any service exceptions are recorded in the ‘Opportunities for Improvement’ section of the MI reports where the root cause of service exceptions is documented together with the corrective actions put in place to prevent re-occurrence in future.
Protective monitoring type Supplier-defined controls
Protective monitoring approach The data used to measure delivery performance comes straight from Adare’s internal production workflow tool Microsoft NAV ERP management system.
Incident management type Supplier-defined controls
Incident management approach Adare has pre-defined processes for common events
