Getting started On activation, all new users activate a guided online walk through of the platform. The walkthrough describes to the user features relevant to them - dependent on their status as a learner or administrator.

An online course can be provided within the app for further training.

Online and face to face training is available for administrators. Complete user documentation is available in our knowledge base from within the app.

End-of-contract data extraction Data can be extracted in full from within the app - data is exported in CSV.
End-of-contract process At the end of a contract, should a buyer not wish to renew their Qintil account, all data will be archived and remain available to download for a period of 6 months. All other features will be switched off. There is no additional cost to extract data at the end of a contract, unless the buyer requires Qintil to undertake this work for them.

Availability and resilience

Guaranteed availability Qintil guarantees 99.8% availability of the service at normal times. If we do not meet this guarantee, we may at our discretion offer a refund equivalent to the period of disruption or a quarter of a monthly subscription fee value.

Scheduled maintenance where all or part of the service will not be available to users will be advised in advance. Where possible this maintenance will be carried out at weekends and at night time to reduce disruption to users.
Approach to resilience Qintil uses Microsoft Azure to ensure optimum resiliency. We are pleased to provide detail on our data centre resilience process on request.
Outage reporting We will provide email alerts to all users to advise of any outages affecting the service and expected time of return to normal service.
