Questions asked by suppliers

Questions asked by suppliers
Supplier question Buyer answer
1. Can the Authority confirm if an incumbent is currently occupying this role and if they will be invited to apply via DOS? There is no external incumbent. The NHS Digital team currently support, maintain and develop this system. This role is to work alongside the current team.
2. Please can you provide some additional information regarding timescales, specifically when do you anticipate that shortlisting will take place, when do you plan for interviews to be held and when are you looking to award contracts? Shortlisting will commence from w/c 1st April, and shortlisted suppliers will be notified by 12th April.
We would like interviews to take place during w/c 23rd April. As part of the assessment, there will be a written test around Cache/Mumps.
3. Does the rate stated exclude VAT? The stated maximum rate is exclusive of VAT.
4. Can we ask if this is a duplicate as it seems to be the same content. Or are you trying to resource more than one Cache Developer? These are two separate but related opportunities.
5. will you support the person in getting SC clearance if he doesn't already hold valid SC clearance or would you only entertain candidates having valid SC clearance in hand? As this assignment relates to Patient Data, work on this SOW cannot commence before SC is in place. We will accept candidates who do not currently have Security Clearance, but are willing to undertake Security Clearance before commencing the assignment. Please note however, that the data a candidate is able to commence may be a factor during the evaluation process.
