Questions asked by suppliers

Questions asked by suppliers
Supplier question Buyer answer
1. What is the contract length? 10 weeks, with a possibility to extend.
2. What is the day rate? The maximum day rate is £550 per day.
3. What is the IR35 status of this role? This role sits outside of IR35.
4. Is there a current incumbent in this role? No. Some early prototype work has been carried out by the technical architect.
5. Is previous Public Sector experience essential? Not essential, but SC clearance is essential.
6. Is there a comparable system already in place either within the Public Sector, or Private Sector, to show what is ultimately looking to be achieved? Yes. We are rebuilding and adding to the functionality of the current MMU platform (which is currently malfunctioning).

The product roadmap draws on elements from feed readers (Feedly, Tweetdeck) for 'reader'-personas and cloud CMSs (Ghost, Wordpress, Blogger) for 'writer/editor'-personas.
7. Are you flexible in either needing to be SC cleared or working on site? Suppliers are required to work on site at least 4 days each week, so they are close to users and the wider team. Working on site requires SC clearance.
8. Is the day rate inclusive of VAT? The day rate is not inclusive of VAT. The maximum day rate is £550 + VAT at 20%.
