3. Also if you found a suitable Consultant will they be able to start before February 2019 ? Yes - consultants can start earlier (without SC clearance, but suppliers must have a good indication that they will qualify - min 5 yrs residency in UK, no criminal record, etc.)
4. Your target rate implies that you are looking for senior staff, is this assumption correct? Please suggest the seniority level of the staff that need to be deployed. Yes, senior staff with solid foundational knowledge in IT. Total years of IT experience is expected to be 10+ years
5. In working arrangements you state, ''5 days in the office. A week's on-call duties (rota based) will be paid an additional 6th day.'' Does this mean the role involves out of hours or 24*7 work? Out of hours support is required (maximum 1 in every 6 weeks). You will only be called for Sev 1 incidents. First 2 hours of incident triage is inclusive on the on-call payment. Additional time spent can be claims as overtime on a hourly rate.
6. Will the resource be paid for any work they do whilst on-call. What are the response times you would be looking for? Individuals will only be called for Severity 1 incidents, the target SLA is 2hrs. If resolution is expect to run over 2 hrs, then overtime is paid. Currently we get a maximum of 2 x Sev 1 incidents a month.
