Questions asked by suppliers

Questions asked by suppliers
Supplier question Buyer answer
1. Is there a current incumbent in this role? There is no current incumbent. The requirement is for a new vacancy.
2. Can the authority please confirm the IR35 status of this role? The Authority has undertaken an HMRC IR35 assessment. The assessment advises that this requirement falls outside IR35. 'The intermediaries legislation doesn't apply to this engagement.'
3. Can you please clarify what a "TS Laptop" is? 'TS' stands for Top Secret.
4. You have released the role under category "Technical Architect". Can you please clarify the seniority of the role and the level of responsibility the successful candidate will have?
I ask because the job description does not read as needing someone with Architecture or Design experience.
Are you looking for an Engineer or a more senior specialist?
We are looking for an Engineer/Architect who can design and build, configure and test a Windows installation for laptops for a specific purpose to hold data up to Top Secret. If we were to estimate competence level using SFIA we expect someone to show level 5.
