About the work
- Why the work is being done
- As part of the GDE project Salford has implemented a number of new Digital systems and applications. This has resulted in a spike in service desk and technical services activity.
- Problem to be solved
- In order to address the short term spike in activity, the GDE programme has committed to supporting the Digital Department in bringing its activity spike under control after new technology implementation. To support this increase in activity 2 Service Desk Agents and 1 Installation Technician are required.

- To support the Technical services team and Service desk team to bring back under control its call logs.
