The department has been looking at how grant applications, assessments and on-going monitoring can be consolidated across fewer platforms than currently. This is now at Beta phase and will need to go through the Digital Service Standard assessment process.
The Developer will report directly to the Lead Technical Architect.

What the specialist will work on
The aim is to create digital services that support the entire grant application process from posting the opportunity through to impact reporting of successful applicants.
The successful supplier will be required to:
• Build a production ready system, ensuring high quality code with unit test cases.
• Develop a multi-stage application/approval process application, integrated with an Identity Management system and user profile screens so that users can make updates and view the application.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to the Apprentice developer.
• Work in SCALA.

The working arrangements will be Monday to Friday on site.
A professional working day, hours and working pattern as needed to deliver the service in an efficient way.
Mainly based from our office in Westminster, London with the potential for remote working one day per week subject to business needs.

Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) is required.
