Working arrangements Monday to Friday based in our office (currently Holborn we will be moving to Aldgate in June).

There will be a requirement to participate in out of hours (OOH) support of the platform (on call) - on average one week in six. The OOH support will be paid separately from the day rate of the winning supplier candidates.

  • Experience collaborating closely with colleagues in order to meet users’ needs
  • Experience debugging a complex, multi-server service in a high availability production environment. Please give examples.

  • Experience of developing/operating a PaaS with Cloudfoundry and BOSH and using in a production environment. Please give examples.

1. From 6th April, responsibility for determining if an assignment is within IR35 will shift to the Public Sector organisation. XXXXX need to understand the client’s decision on the status of each contract assignment (including extensions) under IR35 and whether a new contractor assignment is deemed ‘Inside’ or ‘Outside’ of IR35 at the beginning of the recruitment process for hiring a contractor. There is an HMRC status portal available to help determine the status but we do require you to post a response as to whether the role is ‘inside’ or ‘outside’. The role is deemed 'outside' of IR35.
2. Can you please confirm if this role is inside or outside of IR35? This role has been deemed 'outside' of IR35.
3. Does this role require active SC Clearance or can GDS put a candidate through the process after being selected? The candidate does not need to have active SC clearance but must be willing to undergo the SC clearance process whilst at GDS.
4. Can more than one candidate per supplier be submitted? No, only one candidate per supplier can be submitted.
5. Would you consider candidates with DV clearance for this role? As it is above SC clearance, yes, we would consider candidates with DV clearance.
6. Hi, Does the candidate need to already be SC Cleared or can they be in the process of getting cleared for the role? The candidate does not need to have active SC clearance but must be willing to undergo the SC clearance process whilst at GDS.
