Questions asked by suppliers

Questions asked by suppliers
Supplier question Buyer answer
1. What are the procurement timescales? This requirement needs to be fast paced and therefore the sift will be held on the 16th February and the interviews on the 20th.
2. When do we send supplementary evidence? If not already sent, CVs must be received by the Authority by midday on 16th February.
3. What is the format of the CVs? CVs are to be no more than 2 sides of A4, they must be saved as follows;
4. Do candidates have to hold current SC Clearance? YES, this is due to the sensitivity of the material. When submitting your candidates CV you are also required to submit the following information; SC Valid From Date, SC Expiry Date and SC Reference Number. If you are not able to obtain this information please ask the security holder to email it direct to us. Email will be issued at the end of the procurement.
5. Please can you confirm that the figure £550 is total charge to client. A maximum of £550 will be paid per day for this requirement.
6. Would you be willing to consider a candidate who has a wealth of government and public sector experience, who is baseline cleared and able to obtain SC without issue? We would be willing to cover the cost of obtaining SC level clearance. Unfortunately due to the nature of the work and the security level of the documentation being handled this post requires someone that holds current SC clearance.
7. Can you confirm the email address to send CV's to please? Unfortunately due to DOS framework rules, I can not publish the email address of where to send them, please have them ready and once the advert has closed you will be contacted and asked to send them within 24 hours.
8. Under Additional Terms and Conditions it is stated that "No home working and no company / personal laptops permitted". Can the Authority confirm that this task will be conducted on Authority IT systems and that these IT systems (including user accounts) will be available at contract start? If Authority IT is not available how will the work be conducted? IT accounts will be applied for once the candidate has been selected, there is a 10 day SLA for obtaining accounts and this will be done at the earliest opportunity. As this requirement is for an SC cleared person due to working on documents that are above official-sensitive it makes sense that no company/personal laptops are permitted.
