We require a skilled and experienced Programme Manager to oversee and lead this work to recognised best practice standards.

- Who the specialist will work with
- The successful person will be working with the outpatient clinical and managerial leadership and the UHD Informatics teams which comprise of software developers, project managers, desktop and infrastructure engineers and IT trainers.
- What the specialist will work on

We are seeking standards based programme management capacity to oversee the fulfilment of the UHD outpatient digital transformation programme. Reporting to the Outpatients Management Team, this capacity will coordinate activities between the multiple projects (below) giving attention to program strategy, benefits baselining and tracking, programme controls and programme implementation within Outpatient services of UHD.
Projects in scope:
referral and advice and guidance pathway management
2-way bookings system to reduce “did not attends” (DNA)
Robotic Process Automation of OP slot use
Improving in-clinic patient flow
Outcome efficiency
Scheduling oversight
Maximising virtual consultations

is Management offices, Churchfield House, Poole Hospital, BH15 2JB.
The post holder will be working on each of the 3 UHD sites: Poole Hospital, BH15 2JB; Royal Bournemouth Hospital, BH7 7DW and Christchurch Hospital, BH23 2LS - Working arrangements
- This role could be fulfilled on a part time or full time basis. At least 3 days a week is expected. A blend on on site and remote working will be expected. We are a very flexible employer and will be happy to support any reasonable adjustments that people require to enable them to be successful.

Skills and experience

- Be qualified to at least MSP Practitioner level
- Have a minimum of 5 years in Programme Management Consultancy
- Be able to evidence of Programme Management for other NHS organisations over 5 years
- Have current knowledge of Outpatient Digitisation market place and technical solutions and in particular booking systems, Patient Administration and documentation workflow.
- Nice-to-have skills and experience

- Be qualified to MSP Advanced Practitioner level
- Evidence of delivering Digital Transformation Programmes in the NHS
