Questions asked by suppliers
- 1. Do you consider the expert as outside ir35 contractor?
- Yes, this post is considered outside of IR35
- 2. Is there a current incumbent?
- Yes, the role is currently filled.
- 3. Can the candidates start earlier than 1st April 2021?
- No sorry, the post is only available from the 1st April.
- 4. It was mentioned in the requirement of travelling throughout England. What percentage of work is required to travel ( Post covid / when the restriction is lifted)? Just to confirm the expenses and travel reimbursed at cost meaning that the day rate proposal should include this in the calculation?
-
We are unsure what a post covid world will luck like. Within the EA it is unlikely we will travel for meeting before June/July. Following that it will be on a needs basis. Prior to covid this was likely once every two or three weeks to Bristol.
Regarding the expenses. This means if you were asked by the EA to travel we would agree those expenses on-top on the day rate. Prior to you travelling. - 5. If specialist doesn’t have previous experience within Environment Agency and AIMS but have strong hold on required skills and experience to fill the gap of AIMS experience(eager to explore AIMS) and excel in this role; can the specialist apply for this role? If Yes then, what to answer in the application: Must have a working knowledge of the functionality and configuration of AIMS: Operation & Maintenance (AIMS: OM)?
- Due to the tight timescales and complexity around existing business configurations and processes it is vital the supplier meets the “essential” criteria. Only those that meet all those will be shortlisted.
