About the work

Who the specialist will work with
Working within an Agile service design, delivery and support team of circa 30 people responsible for digital transformation activities across the organisation. It’s a multidisciplinary team with software developers, testers, designers, user researchers, Dynamics developers, service designers and product owners. The Dynamics developer will work closely with all of the team as well as the users of the CRM system across the business.
What the specialist will work on
The specialist will support the implementation of SE’s digital transformation. Primarily the role will initially focus on a workstream covering the following activities:
1. Data Quality, Compliance and Security - Delivering new practices to significantly reduce data quality issues entering Dynamics 365,

2. Services to Partners
We will onboard other partners and provide more responsive and predictive approaches that enables their business operations in line with Microsoft’s roadmap of supported features.

3. Continuous Integration Build
Automating the test code and building and deploying the solutions. We currently use Visual Studio for the development site and Team City for CI build.

The supplier is expected to supply a resource to work as part of the team. A core team is based in Glasgow city centre and work standard working hours of 9-5 Mon-Fri. It is expected that the resource would be available for physical meetings and coworking at times but remote working is available.

Yes
2. Given the current Covid-19 restrictions, do you have a minimum number of days a week you would expect the developer to be on site? Will this change as Covid-19 restrictions ease?
Given the current environment we are all working from home, once restrictions have been lifted the task's performed will determine the location therefore we are unable to say how many days a week will be needed on site going forward.
3. If the suitable Candidate doesn't currently hold Baseline Personal Security Standard level clearance would they still be considered due to the expected start date?
Yes they would, they would be expected to apply for the clearance should they be successful.
4. As the closing date is 22nd June, you are proposing that shortlisting, interviewing and contracts all take place within 2 days.
Depending on the amount of submissions there may be a slight delay on the start date but our evaluation team are hoping to complete everything within this timeline.
5. Is the £650 per day inclusive of VAT?
