- Specialist will work directly with the Office 365/Windows 10 project team responsible for all elements of the new Windows 10/Office Desktop.

Office365/Win10 project have a requirement for a skilled APP-V developer/engineer to deliver the Windows 10 and Office upgrade projects. DVLA has over 300 Applications that need re-platforming and testing to support a new Enterprise operating system and software landscape.
The specialist will be required to develop and package all software that will be deployed onto the new Windows 10/Office desktop platform.
The specialist will be responsible for APP-V Sequences, development, documentation and testing services as well as SCCM deployment, configuration and bespoke application packages with ownership and development across all software layers.
Work setup

Work will primarily take place in DVLA offices in Swansea. In light of the current COVID-19 outbreak and in line with Government guidance, supplier resource allocated under this Call-Off Contract (once awarded) will initially work remotely.
When ‘working from home’ restrictions are lifted the supplier resource will be required to work onsite at the DVLAs Swansea offices. However, further remote working may be permitted after restrictions are lifted with prior agreement from the business.
Please note: Supplier resource will initially be required to attend the DVLA site in Swansea, in order to collect the necessary equipment to begin working remotely. - Working arrangements

Statements of Work (SoW) will be issued to define the deliverables of each phase - Security clearance
- Due to the nature of the content and configuration to be worked on, SC clearance is a requirement.

- We currently see this role as sitting outside of IR35, as the candidates would not hold a fixed office position and will not have direct day-to-day direction or supervision.
