Questions asked by suppliers
- 1. Is there a current incumbent?
- There is no incumbent as this is a new requirement,
- 2. Can I clarify if travel expenses can be claimed when visiting other sites on top of the daily rate?
- The daily rate must include all T&S
- 3. Will you sponsor candidates for DV assessment or will they already require it?
- The Authority will not be sponsoring a candidates DV assessment. The candidate must have DV clearance for day 1 of role.
- 4. is this role outside ir35
- An IR35 assessment questionnaire has been completed, on this occasion IR35 does apply, but that doesn't guarantee that it would not apply in the future.
- 5. is this role expected to be officed based from day 1, or will they be working remotely during covid
- The role is flexible working, a mixture of office working and home. At present the office working is only if the individual requires access to secondary IT systems or to attend VTC. Primary IT system will provided as a laptop to allow remote working. We have some satellite sites where presence at meetings may be required approx. once a month. This is not currently happening due to C-19 restrictions but may start again as restrictions ease further.
- 6. Is this inside or outside IR35?
- An IR35 assessment questionnaire has been completed, on this occasion IR35 does apply, but that doesn't guarantee that it would not apply in the future.
- 7. As IR35 does apply will there be any flexibility on the rate?
- Due to available funding, I'm afraid £450 is our limit.
