About the work

About the work
Opportunity attribute name Opportunity attribute value
Why the work is being done to increase business rates income for the local authorities we work with.The supplier must provide accurate information of business properties in local government areas that Powys work with, that have a small business rates relief and where that relief has a risk of being inaccurate. The Supplier must also provide evidence and reports to substantiate any discrepancies identified within set timescales.
Problem to be solved Councils need to increase rateable values of any properties that have a small business rates relief and they are potentially inaccurate and need to be challenged and potentially amended.
Who the users are and what they need to do as a local authority we need to be able to access review analysis and evidence online and via reports in respect of challenging and changing reliefs.

1. Can we find out the following;
• Contract length

• Available Budget

• Phase i.e. Discovery
Contract length - Preference is for a 3 year with potential 2 year extension option

Available Budget - We have requested that we make payment for this contract as a % of the successful additional revenue generated. Therefore as the payment is made from additional revenue created it is not possible to provide an answer to that question.
