Security governance approach We comply with the Security standard 27001 as we are familiar with the requirements but are in the process of completing ISO27001 certification with an external provider. We plan to be certified by the time G-Cloud goes live. Obviously we will not accept any G-Cloud business until we have the certification in place and will be open with this fact with any perspective clients.
Information security policies and processes We follow the policies based around the 27001 ISMS manual. All polices are published to our SharePoint website where they can be viewed by all. Emails are sent to staff members when changes are made and our staff joining procedures and annual reviews also reference our security policies so all staff are aware.

Configuration and change management approach Currently there is only one individual making changes to our system so we currently diaries all changes within outlook but we will shortly be moving to an internal helpdesk system for managing system issues that includes configuration and change management. All changes to our systems are tested on a staging system before rolled out to our client base.

Vulnerability management approach Warnings on potential threats are received from Microsoft/Azure and NCSC. The vulnerability is assessed and depending on its applicability to us and risk involved we will role out updates Immediately or over the next few days.
This process is currently managed by one individual but there is a planned role-out to a helpdesk system that includes the ability to manage vulnerabilities.

Protective monitoring approach We utilise Azure threat protection across our service elements. The Azure Dashboard is monitored throughout the day and will display threats if raised.
