Information security policies and processes C4i Motor uses Microsoft Azure which uses state-of-the-art technology and processes to provide consistent and reliable access, security and privacy for our users. We chose Microsoft Azure because of its built-in capabilities for compliance with a wide range of regulations and privacy mandates. The Microsoft Information Security Policy aligns with ISO 27002 which provides a suggested set of controls for the Information Management Security System. Processes include ongoing threat modeling, code review and security tests. In addition to the Microsoft Azure internal processing controls C4i Motor also uses a series of input and output reconciliations and edit checks.

Configuration and change management approach C4i Motor uses Microsoft Azure which has established software development and release management processes to control implementation of major changes. In addition, for C4i Motor specific functionality configuration and change requests (CCR) we use the following approach: CCRs are documented and recorded, detailed specification documents and test cases with entry/exit criteria accompany each CCR, the overal risk and impact is reviewed prior to the implementation of a CCR, detailed testing is performed in each environment (e.g. development, integration, UAT and production).

Vulnerability management approach C4i Motor uses Microsoft Azure which performs quarterly vulnerability scans to ensure that security requirements are constantly reviewed, improved and implemented. Protective monitoring approach C4i Motor uses Microsoft Azure which provides a trustworthy foundation concept that ensures application security through a process of continuous security improvement with its security development lifecycle and operational security assurance programs. Automated mechanisms are used to perform periodic (at least every hour) integrity scans and detect system anomalies or unauthorized changes. If a potential compromise is identified we send near real-time alerts to our clients.

Incident management approach C4i Motor uses Microsoft Azure which provides alerts about events that could potentially compromise the system. Users report issues via telephone or email and they receive replies via telephone, email, on-site visit or on-line incident review sessions. Incidents and the steps to fix or address the issue are documented and stored.
