As the Talent Suite is web-based, the full range of functionality is available on any device with a standard browser. There is a smartphone-optimised interface; however, in order to benefit from the wide array of administrative capabilities, we recommend the desktop service.
NetDimensions Talent Slate is a fully responsive, native mobile learning app for iPad/Android tablets, iPhones and Android smartphones. It is primarily tailored towards learner accessibility with both online and offline capabilities. It can also be used by managers for task approval and on-the-job assessments.

Over the past few years, detailed accessibility testing of NetDimensions Talent Suite has been undertaken by a number of our clients. |What users can and can't do using the API||
NetDimensions Talent Suite, through its Application Programming Interface (API), not only accesses information from external systems, but exchanges information with them as well.
The API is HTTP-based, and makes use of widely-supported Web data formats such as XML, JSON, Atom, and RSS. It is intended to conform to the design principles of Representation State Transfer (REST).
The API has around 100 separate functions and is intended to support at least the following scenarios:
Integration with back-end systems such as Human Resource Management Systems;
Integration with other web sites and applications, such as portals, that are built on server-side technologies such as Java, the Microsoft .NET Framework, or PHP;
Access via browser-based technologies such as Ajax and Adobe Flash;
Access via desktop applications (e.g., Adobe AIR, browser extensions); and
Access via mobile applications (e.g., Android, Cocoa for iPhone).
We also provide a utility for scheduling data imports and exports via the file system, HTTP(S) and/or FTP.

NetDimensions Talent Suite is a highly configurable system. Configuration options define everything from areas such as menus, page layout, and a wide variety of display options to the ability to add fields to users and courses.
Customizations within NetDimensions Talent Suite typically involve changes to specific workflow. Clients can use our Product Roadmap Portal to make requests for new functions and features. This portal also provides visibility into what we are considering doing, our future plans, and what’s been launched.

Availability and resilience
NetDimensions provides an SLA for all clients that guarantees initial response and resolution times, dictated by four levels of priority.
Our stated uptime is 99.5% measured on an annual basis and excluding scheduled maintenance windows; however, we typically far exceed this. Non-availability caused by the actions or inactions of client (including client's equipment) will not be included when calculating Service availability. If the Service is unavailable for four or more hours in any 24-hour period, client will be credited with a total of one week’s free hosting at the end of the Initial Term or applicable 12 month term.
|Approach to resilience||NetDimensions' Talent Suite SaaS offering is delivered through hosting infrastructure that is committed to the highest level of resilience and redundancy. Details of our backup and disaster recovery plans are available upon request.|
The system is highly unlikely to experience any outages besides scheduled maintenance. The client accepts that NetDimensions will require scheduled down-time periods from time to time to perform system maintenance, backup and upgrade functions for the SaaS. Scheduled maintenance downtime will usually consist of a weekly three hour maintenance window to take place at the weekend. The weekly maintenance window is required to allow NetDimensions (or its third party contractors) to maintain and improve server or storage space and other facilities. The timing of the weekly maintenance window will be communicated in writing to the client. Additional periods of
scheduled maintenance downtime may be required by NetDimensions which will be scheduled in advance by e-mail message or telephone call to the client, and NetDimensions will use its reasonable endeavours to ensure that scheduled maintenance downtime is at times and for periods that minimises inconvenience to the client.
