How the planning service works The Carrenza Cloud Assessment engagement prepares customers for their journey to the cloud and assesses their readiness to proceed. This is conducted via a series of workshops to understand the customers’ business objectives, functional requirements and success criteria.

A cloud maturity assessment is also conducted to assess IT maturity, examining people, processes and technology. This is supplemented by a readiness assessment to highlight areas of potential concern which enables issues to be addressed at the earliest possible stage.

In parallel, software toolsets will be deployed to conduct a performance profiling exercise of the existing estate to facilitate future hardware sizing and accurate planning.

How the support service works Full support of Carrenza services are provided as standard via the Carrenza Service Desk. The Service Desk is open Mon-Fri 07:00-19:00 and is manned by 1st/2nd line support engineers. The service desk has direct escalation to the operations team where full 3rd line support is provided.

Carrenza also provide additional support services such as O/S and application monitoring, server support, patch management, managed backup, and managed DR services.
