Security governance approach
While in the process of approaching the ISO27001, in lieu of that we never allow access to production servers to anyone except admins, who we only allow SSH keys access to servers. We use AWS for hosting, and exercise VPC, with whitelists and subnetting for specifice access. Access to servers is through a bastion host that requires an SSH key in addition to the keys need to hit the actual servers. We run a Pentest yearly on code. We security patch.
Information security policies and processes
We have a security committe that meets regularly to review standards and policies.

We use a combination of over 20 policies that define processes such as DR, BIA, Backup policies, Data Privacy, Incident Response, Information asset classification, IT policy, and etc

We include appropriate policies in HR employee handbooks as well as provide training to appropriate employees at least once a year.
