Planning service
How the planning service works
IMD’s ITEA services can help our customers to determine the verification and validation criteria for their User and System Requirements. This is an essential element of both the User Requirement Document and System Requirement Document production. If the cloud service or software is technically complex or novel, we can implement progressive verification and validation activities for specific requirements. This can help reduce technical risk and provide stakeholder confidence.

Training service provided
How the training service works
IMD can provide tailored ITEA training for individuals and teams in conjunction with coaching and mentoring by our deployed consultants, or as a standalone offering through our talent management capabilities. The accredited training delivered by IMD offers courses such as ITIL, APMG International Managing Benefits or PRINCE2 (and other) certifications. This ensures best practice methods applied during the delivery of our service are adopted by staff with key skills and knowledge being retained following the completion of the contract.

Setup and migration

Setup or migration service available
How the setup or migration service works
Integrated Test, Evaluation and Acceptance activities are an essential part of formal acceptance of a new service. IMD’s ITEA services provide the following support: Production of an Acceptance Strategy – this will define the overall approach to testing and acceptance that is agreed by the stakeholders; This will be recorded in the Requirements and Acceptance Management Strategy (RAMS). Define the Verification and Validation Criteria – this will inform the production of URD and SRD. Produce a Detailed ITEA Plan – This will identify the resources required, the potential cost and the time needed; A detailed plan will be produced that addresses the V&V method and criteria for each User and System requirement. Execute the Plan – IMD will help lead the ITEA activities outlined in the Plan; Evidence Management – IMD will record the evidence of the ITEA activities to provide a robust audit trail of performance against each UR and SR; In addition to the ITEA Plan, a Validation, Verification and Requirements Matrix (VVRM) will be maintained and a ITEA schedule produced. Formal Acceptance – IMD will use this evidence to ensure a smooth formal acceptance of the service or software.

Quality assurance and performance testing service
How the quality assurance and performance testing works
IMD’s ITEA service will ensure that the cloud based project is delivering to the acceptance and quality criteria identified during ITEA and Quality planning. IMD will establish assurance mechanisms, such as acceptance and quality reviews to provide confidence to the Project Manager, Sponsor and Lead User that these activities are being conducted correctly.

Support levels
For each engagement through GCloud, you will be provided with an IMD Account Manager who will be your central point of contact throughout the delivery of services. Where possible, we aim to provide you with an Account Manager who has experience operating within the relevant field associated with the engagement to coordinate the delivery of similar services.
In addition to the Account Manager, we endeavour to provide you with an additional layer of Account Support in the form of a secondary point of contact for each engagement. In this way, we mitigate the likelihood of having a single point of failure, and have mechanisms in place to maintain continuity of service.
Support will be provided remotely via email and phone for the most part, with the flexibility to arrange meetings on site or at our offices when needed. On site support can be offered during the working week where requests are made prior to proposals being submitted / individual call-off contracts agreed.
Your Account Management and Support resources are typically integrated into the delivery team and so costs are included within the proposal for each engagement.
