How the planning service works
Working closely with you, we help you deliver a service that meets user needs and business requirements so you can plan, implement and use Cloud services appropriately.

We have a vast amount of experience working to the GDS Service Standard / Technology Code of Practice, and working with clients to deliver successful internal and external assessments. We have academically trained language experts to provide content and communications consultancy with every project. We provide agile mentoring, coaching, and knowledge and skills transfer to senior management, teams, and wider stakeholders helping you do ongoing user research, usability testing and iteration for your Cloud, agile or SAFe service(s).

We work with you from the start of a project to assessment, implementation and ongoing improvement. With our vast experience working alongside public sector clients in embedded teams, we advise in the project planning, provide coaching and mentoring so that teams can plan for and anticipate what's involved in Cloud, agile or SAFe project, from inception to assessment. We help you to understand user needs, pain points and user perspectives end to end so that you understand existing user journeys and can create truly user centred services.

How the setup or migration service works
Much like in the creation of a new service, understanding users and their needs is crucial to selecting and configuring the right Cloud service when you transition over. We work with you to implement a user research programme that supports a constant research, usability testing, and iteration delivery loop. Through our embedded coaching and mentoring, you gain knowledge and understanding of Cloud, agile and SAFe user research and service design methods so that you can follow GDS Service Design and DDaT Functional Standard principles.

We have experience in a range of user research practices including usability labs, in-context interviews, ethnography, anthropological methods, user journeys, empathy mapping, persona creation, service blueprints, JIRA / Confluence, Mira, Sketch. We have conducted research for public services and commercial services.
