How the planning service works We work with our customers initially through consultancy workshops to understand the scope of the services which will be based in the cloud. Also to fully understand their business, strategies, objectives and current position – and where the customer wants to be in the future, so that we can align technically with their business strategies. Our consultants will ensure that the design of the new cloud based solution fully meets their security needs, acknowledging GDPR compliance for Data Protection by Design and Data Protection Impact Assessments, plus NIST 800-63 before onboarding, as well as being a high availability solution.

How the setup or migration service works Once we have a complete understanding of the organisation’s technical requirements, our qualified technical teams will then design the new service to meet existing and future architecture before building a robust transition and implementation plan. This will align with our ISO20000 standards and ensures that we consult with the customer throughout the process following best practice. We set up the new cloud based solution and migrate the customer's existing solution into their new environment, or we move a customer from one cloud service to their new cloud service as required.

How the quality assurance and performance testing works The underpinning of quality assurance and performance comes back to design of the cloud based solution. From the considerations taken from our consultative workshops with each customer and taking their requirements, we ensure that these are fully incorporated into the design of the solution. We then use our experts to ensure that the design of the solution is qualitatively assessed and based on best practice. From a performance testing perspective, our comprehensive test plans warrant that the service is fit for purpose before any Go Live dates.

How the support service works The solution is designed to be customer managed due to the solutions inherent integration with the customer’s Active Directory. The Amicus ITS Network Operations Centre (NOC) service if additionally selected, provides you with proactive monitoring and managing of your infrastructure and applications 24x365 to ensure that the services are always available. Amicus ITS can manage the solution if customers opt for our Active Directory Administration service which is an optional service available from our Service Catalogue.
