How the setup or migration service works
DMW provide consulting and engineering services to support cloud migration, that include interface connectivity, data, pipeline code, access credentials, and operational concerns such as monitoring and alerting.

We approach this collaboratively with you by conducting a discovery phase in which we are helped by our Current State Assessment tooling. We also complete a tenancy design assessment to ensure we can appropriately meet modular requirements for future platform augmentation.

Our platform and data engineering function can then configure the chosen platform for the desired DataOps setup and Consumer SDLC.

Once scope is understood we build a migration workflow which allows a repeatable and industrialised execution. This includes code parsing and data platform engine optimisation where possible.

Our engineering teams have the skills to build any tooling that may be required to automate tasks.
We plan migrations so they can be performed on a rolling basis, avoiding the need for a big-bang cut-over wherever possible. This allows for canary and SOAK testing and fast roll-back if required, minimising the impact on your business. Likewise, the migration plan is coordinated with communications to business users to avoid surprises.
