Getting started We do all of the necessary back-end configuration and then advise directly on how best to deploy Cisco AMP for Endpoints. This is achieved by direct consultation followed by a documented process. Our optional managed service means that we take the strain away from the customer, however if they have staff that would like to take on the day-to-day management then we can also provide online training and documentation.

What users can and can't do using the API There are currently two versions of the AMP for Endpoints API - Version 0 and Version 1. The Version 1 has additional functionality versus Version 0. The documentation for Version 1 is available on the Cisco website. It allows you to pull data from an AMP for Endpoints deployment, and manipulate it, when necessary.

Independence of resources AMP for Endpoints is hosted in AWS and while Cisco does not publish an SLA for the service, the AMP Cloud’s uptime for the past 3 years has been 99.95%. Cisco provides our customers at least 72 hours’ notice ahead of any maintenance that will degrade or possibly disrupt the service – which is very infrequent. When an incident does occur, Cisco TAC Escalations team monitors and reports on the resolution times
