Service interface
Description of service interface
The service interface is a dashboard for users to manage their suppliers on. It enables upload and download of csv, and for users to see the compliance status of their suppliers against the regulations data sets they are subscribed to.
Accessibility standards
WCAG 2.1 AA or EN 301 549
Accessibility testing
The system is being updated constantly so we test regularly. Whilst we do not do full testing for our frequent updates, one of our developers is visually impaired and cares deeply that we ensure our interface is easy to use. This enables us to do quick quality checks until our next scheduled full accessibility testing session.

Our sister company Big Red Square Ltd owns and manages Usability Testing Labs in our building (, which makes testing far easier to achieve regularly.
What users can and can't do using the API
The API is still very basic but we aim to enable a fully functioning API for paying members of the register, including adding users, checking supplier status etc.

Customisation available
Description of customisation
Users will need to contact Nameless Media Group for a customisation of the service, available at GCloud rates.

Independence of resources
We do not guarantee that users are not affected by others, however it is extremely unlikely.

Load from user interaction is fairly light, and caching is heavily used in order to reduce load.

The servers are considerably more powerful than any projected load by a very large factor.

Should general load increase, additional server resources can be applied in very short timescales.

Availability and resilience

Guaranteed availability
Approach to resilience
The servers are virtual, and run on hardware for which multiple alternative machines are available. As such for a full hardware failure for whatever reason, new hardware can be rapidly deployed by restoring from a full VM backup.

If the entire server farm was compromised, then the files and database can be redeployed to any compatible server within an hour. The only limiting factors in this situation is DNS redirection, for which the TTL is kept intentionally low.

For any smaller failures, full file and database backups are maintained daily and can be re-deployed within minutes.
Outage reporting
We report outages via email alerts and also via public dashboard.

Information security policies and processes
The scope of our Information Security Policy covers the storage, access, transmission and destruction of information in the course of TISCreport business. It is the part of the remit of the TISCreport Data Strategy Board to oversee and ensure our Information Security Policy is followed. Reporting to this board happens quarterly.

Operational security

Configuration and change management standard
Supplier-defined controls
Configuration and change management approach
The system is software which is developed through Git Version control. Any new developments are tagged and each goes through a thorough testing process before being released to the production servers, and even then goes through further testing on that server before being released to the live service.
Git maintains a full history of updates, versions and resolved issues.
Vulnerability management type
Vulnerability management approach
Our service is tiers upon an operating system, framework and the application itself.

The operating system is very regularly patched, and we follow security feeds which inform us of any potential vulnerabilities, even if not yet patched so that any necessary action could be taken.

The framework and its components have a similar system of released patches which are applied within hours if critical, non critical patches - such as those identified as non-threatening go through a testing process first.

The application itself has regular vulnerability testing, and is updated if necessary.
Protective monitoring type
Protective monitoring approach
The entire file system is compared against an external version for any unauthorised changes.
Within the application key functionality is checked regularly and users are monitored for any unusual activity.
If a compromise is identified and confirmed, the response is instantaneous and depends on the severity of the threat.
Honeypots are also in use which will instantly block a user by IP address.
Incident management type
Supplier-defined controls
Incident management approach
The application itself provides users with the ability to report any issues or incidents.
All incidents are logged in our ticketing system, alongside any issues, bugs or pending system changes. As such they can be seen in context with all ongoing work.
Reporting is a feature of the ticketing system, since all of the above ticket types are categorised and ranked, and can therefore be pulled into relevant reports.
