Onboarding and offboarding

Getting started
On-Boarding
Backup does not lend itself to ease of data portability between backup services or applications however beginning backup service on an estate is a simple task and in the vast majority of cases requires not modification of the estate entering protection.
Every customer requirement is different requiring differing levels of support for planning and
executing a migration. Some customers require no migration, but where the requirements are
complex Datastore365 offer a complete assessment and migration service.
.
For a proof of concept a statistically backup can be created where a full backup process runs but does not store any data in online storage. This backup method tests all connectivity required by the backup service and will highlight any problem areas as well as provide very detailed scaling information: data size, data type, data change rate, data compression ratios.

End-of-contract data extraction
Off-Boarding
As data stored within this service is only an archive of the production data off-boarding is simple and easy.
When exiting, though all customer data is encrypted, data can be manually removed from the
online storage also.
End-of-contract process
Off-Boarding
The nature of cloud services allows simple migration between disparate environments and Datastore365 commits to ensuing that this feature is made available to customers with the same support and management available allowing a smooth off-boarding process within the limitations of the contract to assist the customer at exit
