Getting started SmartStartTM is Arkadin’s powerful digital self-service adoption tool designed to provide faster Return On Investment. The programme is completely free, comes as standard with all Arkadin Vision contracts and limits business disruption during service delivery. This personalised programme gets your new Arkadin Vision users up and running with all the tools, tips and training needed in under 10 mins. No PIN details required and once 100% complete your users will have their email toolbar installed, the mobile app downloaded and installed as well as coverage of our bitesize training videos and hints and tips.
Users are able to join the SmartStart website from the email they receive and complete the four training steps from their laptop, their mobile or tablet through an optimised and smooth user experience.

Finally, you will be able with our team to follow your users’ completion of the training path through a report in order to maximise adoption among your employees.

End-of-contract data extraction No personal data is stored but recordings are available for viewing or download through a website. Recordings will only be held for a certain period of time and then all data will be destroyed.
End-of-contract process All user accesses are suspended. Then credentials and specific items (branding…) are deleted from the application back-end and from CRM.

The standard contract includes a license as defined in STC/STU + support. Branding (interface, DDI, outlook plugin...) and optional services (AD synchronization, professional services for specific needs...) are supplementary and require additional fees.

Differences between the mobile and desktop service With the Desktop Application, there is no need to remember login/password for the user. The user interface remains the same. Android users have the same sharing capabilities than the desktop users, no sharing capabilities for iOS users.

Description of customisation Components that can be branded are : URL, login page, user interfaces (Web and Portal), outlook plug-in invite, DDIs (phone numbers, welcome message, waiting music and eventually prompts). The branding should be requested by the customer admin and Arkadin will manage the branding process.


Independence of resources The Arkadin Vision infrastructure includes redundant servers deployed in a cloud model. Each end user connects to the regional hub to which the user is attached at the provisioning level. All the regional hubs are interconnected to cascade the video conference demand.

Other protection within supplier network On top of the application security, access to the Arkadin Vision platform is secured at the transport layer, level using a high level of encryption thanks to the HTTPS protocol and TLS encryption over TCP port 443.

All non-secured communications over port 80 are automatically forced and redirected to a secure mode.

The web site identity has been verified by Digicert which provides the https certificate. The certificate provides a 256 bits encryption with SHA 256 RSA algorithm.

Servers do not accept connections using a version under the SSL V3.0 protocol. TLS 1.0 is the default mode.

Guaranteed availability Service Availability is measured on a monthly basis, and is based on Arkadin service availability. Availability is calculated as a percentage based on agreed service uptime and downtime. Monthly Service Availability is equal or higher than 99.9%.
Approach to resilience All components are redundant in the DC. Possibility to route traffic from one DC to another. Further information can be provided on request.
Outage reporting If our platform experiences an outage, this is identified on our public dashboard. We proactively identify most faults however we have dedicated engineers on-shift and escalation paths with our partners.
