Central to our organisations philosophy is the notion of building quality into the product from the onset. These tools will help increase the quality of testing and also the speed at which they can be carried out. Our development teams use a number of tools in the development and support of cloud based applications such as Mocha and Chai. We also use Sinon.js for unit testing and they are using CodeceptJS and WebDriver for acceptance testing.
Our teams are adept at writing automated tests to ‘break’ key components of the architecture to ensure that components failed over gracefully e.g. stopping a database node whilst in the middle of a long running transaction, or turning off a physical server during a long running set of tests. We ensure resilience by force-closing server instances during an on-going load test as part of the overall non-functional testing approach.

Solirius provides services around managing operational applications, including proactive support of the solution’s run time characteristics and third line support of applications that we have helped deliver.
Solirius provides software services for solutions running in the cloud that we have helped to deliver. This includes operational monitoring, run time analysis and 3rd line support with SC cleared staff.
Solirius operates an in-house rota system, which clearly identifies who amongst the DevOps team is on support duties at any one time. Solirius has a proven track record of providing weekend and out of hours support, without impacting core hour support.
Solirius operate an integrated call, email and support desk that allows the team to keep track of and report on incidents.
