|Software add-on or extension||Yes, but can also be used as a standalone service|
|What software services is the service an extension to||Many Cloud applications are forced to use in-house print-management necessitating significant equipment, running and maintenance costs from a Hybrid solution. Printix will therefore work with any application to provide a genuine SaaS solution. The Azure Microsoft certified version extends the capabilities of Azure ASD using the inbuilt authentication and encryption.|
|Cloud deployment model||Private cloud|
|Service constraints||Conventionally the service would be hosted on a UKCloud Server providing an appropriate level of availability for the customer's needs.|
|Email or online ticketing support||Email or online ticketing|
|Support response times||
Basic contract is 8.30am to 5.30pm weekdays (not Bank Holidays)
Extended support is available at an extra cost by negotiation.

Support is covered in the basic SaaS cost and is based on a maximum 2 hour response and will endeavor to provide a solution or workaround. If the problem is not resolved it will be escalated to the developers. During the incident support will use the appropriate medium.
On-site support is available by arrangement and is charged on a time and materials basis
|Support available to third parties||Yes|
Onboarding and offboarding
Printix is simple to install and use with online training available in video form. For Azure365, it is easy to install, requiring only a few of clicks from a mouse. Full user/administrator documentation is available.
Pre-installation consultancy advice and training is readily available at the relevant daily rate.
|End-of-contract data extraction||The Cloud Based Print Management Data can be exported in an agreed format for input into the new system. Much of the data is relevant to the requirements of EUGDPR which will determine the content required.|
|End-of-contract process||The content required together with its format will be determined by your plans at the time. GeDaP will provide the appropriate quotation based on volumes and content required.|
Using the service
|Web browser interface||Yes|
|Application to install||Yes|
|Compatible operating systems||
|Designed for use on mobile devices||Yes|
|Differences between the mobile and desktop service||Printix recognizes that we live in a Mobile world (BYOD) and that any device (PC, Notebook, Tablet, Smartphone etc ) may be running applications creating a document for print. Likewise the device may be used for authentication and document release. The look and feel between devices is as close as possible. Printix provides a familiar user look and feel across all devices|
|Accessibility standards||None or don’t know|
|Description of accessibility||The user interface in Printix is related to document print and release or "Print Anywhere". The process of print or print release uses the features and facilities of the printer/MFD selected not Printix. For "Print Anywhere" the release of print comes from user authentication to provide the document output. Accessibility therefore depends on the applications in use as Printix is transparent.|
|Accessibility testing||Printix is tightly coupled to Microsoft Azure and is compatible with its standards and certified for use. However the assisted technology is more relevant to the applications and operating system|
|Independence of resources||GeDaP work closely with UKCloud whose resources are highly scalable. As an application Printix is scalable to in excess of 300,000 users.|
