Planning

Planning
Planning service Yes
How the planning service works ProServe Consultant(s) guide customers through the process of discovering their current environment, building a business case that supports their large migration and strategy, building a plan for the large migration based on both business and technical criteria and priorities. The engagement includes establishing operational capability to help customers to operate in the cloud and to establish a cloud centre of excellence to help deploy and enforce best practice. Training plans are established to help enable Customer to staff grow their AWS skills. While establishing the environment (Landing Zone) topics like account structure, bill-back, patching, config management, disaster recovery, cost management and other operational topics are addressed. Lastly, to support the customer team, a few (up to 5) patterns are identified from the environment and migrated to production by the customer team. Additional expected results include: a Migration plan for a large follow-on migration, a detailed business case to support the large migration decision, an established Landing Zone where to which customer has moved up to 5 apps , and established operations and security practices.
