Nomidio is certified to the OpenID Connect standard which is simple enough to integrate with basic apps, while also offering features and security options that can meet demanding enterprise requirements.

Clients use standard OAuth 2.0 flows to obtain ID tokens, which work with web apps as well as native mobile apps. OAuth 2.0 also means that you have a single protocol for authentication and authorization (obtaining access tokens).

Client apps receive the user’s identity encoded in a secure JSON Web Token (JWT) called the ID token.

Change to all components of the Nomidio service are managed through a change control process that forms part of our Information Security Management System. All changes require a specific security risk analysis with standard processes including requirements such as vulnerability assessments.
Vulnerability management type
Conforms to a recognised standard, for example CSA CCM v3.0 or SSAE-16 / ISAE 3402
Vulnerability management approach
Threats are identified through both automated systems and manual review. Patches are scheduled for a monthly patching window but expedited to as quickly as same day when required.
Protective monitoring type
Conforms to a recognised standard, for example CSA CCM v3.0 or SSAE-16 / ISAE 3402
Protective monitoring approach
Nomidio maintains a number of protective monitoring processes to keep services and applications free from attack or errant behaviour. This includes keeping appropriate anti-virus software up to date across the estate of IT machines as needed, as well as cloud monitoring tools and web/system log collection and monitoring for unusual behaviours and access. Logs are checked at regular intervals and when unusual system or performance events or bugs are raised.
Incident management type
Conforms to a recognised standard, for example, CSA CCM v3.0 or ISO/IEC 27035:2011 or SSAE-16 / ISAE 3402
