- Planning is key to our transformation service and underpins our approach which starts by focusing on and discovering the legacy estate and requirement. This is followed by collaborative consultancy and design of technology and service to meet the organisations future requirements and ensure that the way the service is provided post transformation is optimal. This often leads into creation of business case which IT Naturally can assist with or take full responsibility for. Beyond this, planning focuses on building and testing the solution to the point of being ready to go live. Working closely with the organisation we plan together when to execute change selecting to perform change in a way that minimises disruption during roll out or deployment. We use detailed run books during actual roll out to ensure everything is carefully planned and remains on track. Our roll out plans also include validation testing and roll back in case of any issues. See Service Description Document for more on our approach.

- Testing is a focus as we transform and change end user computing and desktop estates. Once a solution is agreed we seek to validate this via Proof of Concept (POC) testing which creates a solution mock up avoiding any impact to users. Application testing is also important, especially when performing operating system upgrades. Just before roll out starts Pilot testing is performed to bring all parts of the solution together deploying to a small sample of users to prove the end-to-end solution and deployment method. During migration production validation testing is performed. We collaboratively work with the organisations resources to complete testing.
