End-of-contract process Winaim uses consumption based pricing. At the end of the contract there is a data migration cost, which is based on how much data is stored and the format in which the client wants their data.
Each contract has a low consumption based pricing for data capture.
Each contract has a low consumption based pricing for the number of dashboards required and for the number of different 3rd parties that need access to the dashboards

Availability and resilience

Availability and resilience
Guaranteed availability Winaim provides a 99.9% platform uptime garuntee
Approach to resilience Winaim use AWS infrastructure to deliver its contract management system as part of a managed service. For data storage Winaim uses Amazon Elastic Block Store (Amazon EBS) that provides block level storage volumes for use with Winaim EC2 instances. EBS volumes are highly available and reliable storage volumes. EBS volumes that are attached to an EC2 instance are exposed as storage volumes that persist independently from the life of the instance. Winaim primarily runs its services from AWS region eu-west 1.
Winaim uses EBS because of its high performance characteristics as Winaim requires that data must be quickly accessible and also requires long-term persistence. Winaim uses EBS volumes as the primary storage for its file systems, databases and any use cases that require fine granular updates and access to raw, unformatted, block-level storage. Winaim use EBS because it is well suited to both database-style applications that rely on random reads and writes, and to throughput-intensive uses that perform long, continuous reads and writes.
Outage reporting Email alerts, API's and dashboards.

Identity and authentication

Identity and authentication
User authentication 2-factor authentication
Access restrictions in management interfaces and support channels Winaim runs the Principle of Least Privilege which encourages system Winaim designers and implementers to allow running code only the permissions needed to complete the required tasks and no more.
Access restriction testing frequency At least once a year
Management access authentication 2-factor authentication
Devices users manage the service through
  • Dedicated device on a government network (for example PSN)
  • Dedicated device over multiple services or networks
  • Any device but through a bastion host (a bastion host is a server that provides access to a private network from an external network such as the internet)
  • Directly from any device which may also be used for normal business (for example web browsing or viewing external email)

By using EBS volumes AWS automatically encrypts these volumes. Amazon EBS encryption provides Winaim a secure way to build, manage, and secure our key management infrastructure. So for all Winaim customers data stored at rest on the volume, disk I/O, and snapshots created from the volume are all encrypted. The encryption occurs on the servers that hosts EC2 instances, providing encryption of data-in-transit from EC2 instances to EBS storage..
Winaim uses AWS Key Management Service (AWS KMS) master keys when creating encrypted volumes and all snapshots created from encrypted volumes.
Winaim uses network firewalls built into Amazon VPC, and web application firewall capabilities in AWS WAF allows Winaim to create private networks for customers and control access to instances and applications

Winaim has encryption in transit with TLS across all services
Winaim can enable private, or dedicated, connections from customer offices or on-premises environments.
Winaim uses a certificate based endpoint security management approach. Winaim uses a policy-based approach to network security that requires endpoint devices to comply with specific criteria before they are granted access to the Winaim Platform.
