Based within a IT Project Teams
This will include working with the cancer teams to ensure that the IT functionality is in place for the implementation of the relevant elements of the Recovery Package (Holistic Needs Assessment, Treatment Summaries & Cancer Care Reviews)
The post holder will also be responsible for system implementation that will support teams in the design of stratified pathways and changing how patients are followed up. - What the specialist will work on

The successful candidate will support the Implementation of the Infoflex System in line with the Kent and Medway Cancer Alliance delivery plan.
This will involve working with the East Kent CCGs, Macmillan GPS, Cancer Alliance stakeholders and the other acute hospitals in Kent & Medway to deliver the IT element of the programme.
The successful candidate will implement the IT function that will support the delivery of the Kent and Medway Cancer Alliance objectives.
The post holder will also be responsible for system implementation that will support teams in design of stratified pathways and changing how patients are followed up.

- Based in Folkestone but will involve travel all around Kent and Medway.

- Knowledge of NHS Cancer systems, specifically Infoflex, and business requirements of differing Trusts and NHS organisations in Kent and Medway
