- The requirement is for support a broad range of physical security, cyber security, information assurance and resilience disciplines to the DAIS Security Assurance Coordination functional team of the Above Secret systems portfolio. The flexible specialist resource will be capable of delivering SQEP staff as required & at short notice.

- Who the specialist will work with
- The specialist will work closely with stakeholders from a number of JFC ISS teams: Design & Architecture, Service Management, Accreditors, Networks Infrastructure and specific Project Teams. Due to the nature of the work a requirement to limit the "need to know" to as small a number of personnel as necessary, the specialist must be proficient in the broadest range of disciplines, although more than one individual within the resource may be acceptable.
- What the specialist will work on
-
a) Physical Security: advice to project teams on compliance with HMG standards for accommodation, including CT, classified material and special handling. Ad Hoc advice to SAC on JSP 440 requirements as arising from incidents, investigations and risk assessments.
b) Cyber Security & IA advice to project teams, and general support to the SAC function. This includes preparation, review and amendment of typical accreditation documentation, risk management documentation. Participation in Security Working Groups.
c) Business Continuity & resilience advice to project teams in relation to live service management & in response to incidents and exercises.
Work setup
- Address where the work will take place
- MOD Corsham, Westwells Road with frequent travel to other locations in Wiltshire, Berkshire, Bristol and London as required.

- 1. Is there a current incumbent?
- There is a current incumbent, this contract will follow on from the extant contract.
- 2. Does the specialist already need DV clearance? Or will MOD support them through the process?
- The specialist will need a current valid DV, this is a TS project so they need to hit the ground running with the correct clearances.
- 3. Are you looking for candidates with active DV or are you able to put the candidate through the process? If they're holding SC already?
- Need current DV which is valid for the length of the contract they also need to be a UK National.
- 4. Is this role inside IR35?
