Who the specialist will work with A specialist is required to work in the Public Protection Directorate Project team, working with the BA, Tech Lead, Technical Architect and test teams to implement the user stories defined by the BA. The deliverables are the implementation of the user stories defined for the project.
What the specialist will work on Specialist will be part of a Public Protection Directorate Project team working on ‘Lost and Stolen Passport Reporting’ service making use of existing tech stack like PHP, Symfony framework, PostgreSQL. Specialist will be required to work with multiple development, support teams and existing vendor to understand legacy and new data structures develop user screens and write micro services to manage the data in a secure environment.

Work is based in London and will involve the specialist to being on site 5 days per week to work collaboratively with HMPO teams.

Travel to regional sites to be agreed, expenses incurred from travel outside of the M25/Greater London will be subject to H.M. Passport Office Travel and Subsistence Policy
Security clearance SC Clearance is required. HM Passport Office will support the clearance process.
