- Who the specialist will work with
- An internal Careers Wales team will support the development of the new website. This will include key internal resources, e.g. Product Development Management, Enterprise Architecture, Technical Project Management, Software Testing, DevOps and Network Administration etc. In addition, there will be a third party systems Integrator and a third party digital design agency.
- What the specialist will work on

1. Technical design of the: Target architecture (evolving); Security architecture/ model (evolving); Transition architecture.
2. Define and architect data transformation and migration strategies from legacy systems to new data models.
3. Enterprise data modelling.
4. Technical support for the implementation of the: Target architecture; CI/CD Pipeline; Security architecture/ model; Integration of the UI and business logic; Data transformation strategy.
5. Technical and architectural guidance for new development projects with software vendors, ensuring CW retain control of their platform/ code, providing a good practice model for future development projects.
6. Technical assurance of the delivered solution.

- Demonstrate in-depth experience of defining and implementing target microservices architectures (using Open Source technologies where appropriate), and transition architectures for legacy transformation projects.
- Demonstrate experience of leading the technical governance of a Cloud native architecture utilising Microsoft Azure.
- Demonstrate experience of technically designing and delivering complex enterprise level security solutions for web based platforms.
- Demonstrate experience of technically designing and delivering fault tolerant, highly available and resilient technical solutions.
- Demonstrate experience of architecting technical solutions, which enable performance monitoring and continuous review.
- Demonstrate experience of enterprise data modelling, policies and standards.
