Supplier question Buyer answer
1. What are your rough timelines please (this isn’t mentioned in the DOS notice), i.e. when will we know about ‘Shortlisted suppliers’, when do you expect the ‘Written proposal’ + ‘Case study’ + ‘Work history’ to be submitted and when will you hold the 'Presentations'? Our provisional timeline for this requirement is as follows:

Close date for responses:
By 23.59 on Friday 18 January.

Shortlisted suppliers notified:
Friday 25 January.

Presentations by shortlisted suppliers to take place on:
Wednesday 30 January.

Final decision expected:
Thursday 31 January.

Contract start date:
Monday 20 February.
2. Who will form the evaluation panel for shortlisting and presentation assessment? The evaluation panel has not yet been agreed for this requirement.
3. There are no nice-to-haves associated with this contract and everything is set as essential.

This means suppliers have to have a highly specialized skill set and work history i.e. Orbeon Forms, Japersoft, Marklogic and have worked within the government grant payment processes.

Is this as intended or should suppliers apply if they meet "most" of the criteria?
Yes, that’s correct. Those suppliers who fulfil most of those essential criteria can also submit proposals. However, please be aware that they may be bidding against others who meet all essential criteria.

However, please be aware that they may be bidding against others who meet all essential criteria. Really sorry for the problems caused earlier this afternoon. Due to telephony issues, we were unable to dial into this question and answer sessions due to a fault which is being investigated. So, we took the decision to cancel the session after 25 minutes of trying to access the conference call facilities. Apologies for this.
