- 1. Is this role considered to be inside IR35?
- We expect this engagement to be outside IR35, however status is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
- 2. What is the maximum day rate?
- The maximum day rate has been left blank intentionally, we will assess the day rate for suppliers using the evaluation weighting we have disclosed on the requirements.
- 3. Please can you confirm which version of Java you would like expertise in?
- Though Java 8 is in use , all projects will start to make use of Java 11.
- 4. Are there incumbents in these positions and will they be reapplying?
- There is no incumbent in post. This is a new role.
- 5. Is activiti BPM experience a must have?
- We would consider a strong Java developer who used other workflow engines.
- 6. Would you consider a strong Java Developer who has not used Activiti, but has used other workflow engines?
- Yes.
- 7. What team will the specialists be working in?
- Orchestration and Collation Function.
- 8. Do you require for the developer to have SC on the day 1 or he/she can start and apply for the SC while already working?
- The specialist will be required to have SC Clearance before they can start. HM Passport Office will support the clearance process.

The vacancy closes Tuesday 13 November . We will aim to have the shortlist concluded and the results sent out to candidates by week ending 23 November and aim to have interviews the following week.

- This role is not related to the previous advertised roles that closed on 17th October. These roles are for a separate project. This is a new role.
- 11. As the daily rate is not provided, can you advise what level of experience is expected? How many years core Java development?
- Minimum of 3 years.
- 12. Is this is meant to be Java 1.8 or is this a typo?
- The correct version is Java 8
- 13. Do you want to start all the Developers around the same time?
- It is not a requirement that all Developers start at the same time.
