Questions asked by suppliers

Questions asked by suppliers
Supplier question Buyer answer
1. What is the process for interview if you could let us know the breakdown? e.g. 1st Telephone Interview, 2nd Face-to-Face and then offer The requirement states that this procurement will be evaluated on 'Work History'. A this stage we anticipate that we will only evaluate on a written response e.g. CV and covering letter. However we do reserve the right to hold telephone or face-to-face interviews should the need exist once we have evaluated the written responses.
2. Can you indicate what cloud-hosting supplier is being used (AWS/Skyscape)?

Can you indicate what database technologies are involved?

Can you indicate what COTS application is being deployed?
The Hosting provider is: SCC

The COTS product is: Genesys

The database is: MYSQL

We also have Active Directory for Windows in the mix also.
3. Hi, can we ask what the deadline of the 23rd refers to? Whether this is the deadline for the initial application or for the entire tendering process to be completed. The 23rd deadline is for you to complete the sections in the portal to allow us to shortlist (against the 'essential criteria' and 'nice to haves'). Once shortlisted we will come out to those shortlisted suppliers and ask for CV's. Please note that we will ask for a short turnaround on CVs so it would be good to start the process of collecting these now if you meet all of our criteria.
4. At the time of application, we are not able to send CVs as there is no option to submit CV in response. We can only select yes/no in application. Could you please let us know how you will shortlist the candidates Yes you are correct. Please see previous response also.

Suppliers will be shorlisted as follows:

•suppliers who can start when we need them to
•where day rates are within budget
•suppliers who have the most nice-to-have skills and experience.
5. We have more than one potential candidate for the role, but the skills and experience varies and so does the rate of the candidate. How do we apply to this request stating the range of day rates for different candidates? It isn't possible with the form as it is currently designed I went back to CCS for a response on this as the portal is new to DWP also. They have responded as follows:

"The tool allows a supplier only only submit one applicant per role. They should submit their best candidate"

Remember that we will shortlist 5 suppliers and come out to those suppliers for their proposals 24/5/16 at which point suppliers can submit their responses.
