What the specialist will work on
The requirements of the Project Manager will be to manage and oversee the implentation of (but not limited to):
- Increase capacity of data centre infrastructure and network capability.
- work alongside other Government departments.
- increase data storage.
- improve security.
- Increase operational efficiency.

The individual will be required to work in the UK (remotely) and in Barbados.
The expected requirement will be to deploy for 50% of the time.

FCO worldwide subsistence rates will apply.
This role is deemed to be outside the scope of IR35 of the Intermediaries legislation.

  • Previous experience in building IT capability and infrastructure for targeting (10%)

  • Experience in managing and overseeing the implementation of data centre infrastrucure and networking (10%)

The split will be a maximum to two weeks per month in Barbados. This will be for review with the management team if it is felt there is a need for less time in Barbados.
